At Kozhikode Star, the menu is a carefully curated celebration of Kerala’s culinary treasures. Standout dishes such as the Chatti Choru—a soothing, slow-cooked rice meal—pair wonderfully with the creamy and perfectly spiced Paneer Butter Masala. For meat lovers, the Chicken Tandoori offers a smoky, tender delight, while the Beef Ularthiyath features rich, stir-fried beef infused with spices that ignite the palate. We tried their beef biriyani and fish egg. The biriyani was well cooked, flavorful, and served nicely on a banana leaf. The fish egg was the highlight super tasty with a real home cooked feel. Prices were reasonable, and while the place was a bit crowded, the ambience was fine. Overall, a satisfying experience.

Kozhikode Star is a great place for enjoying authentic Kerala food, and it consistently delivers on taste and quality. The restaurant is especially known for its traditional meals, which are wholesome, satisfying, and full of classic Kerala flavors. Their biryani is another highlight—well-cooked, flavorful, and aromatic without being overpowering. The ghee rice is equally good, light yet rich, and pairs perfectly with curries and side dishes. The combo options are usually my preferred choice, as they offer a good balance of variety and value, making the overall dining experience more enjoyable. One of the major advantages of Kozhikode Star is the seating capacity. There is plenty of space, making it comfortable for families, groups, and even larger gatherings. T
Visited Kozhikode Star Restaurant and had a decent experience overall. The food was normal and good. We ordered the Chicken naadan Curry, but honestly, it felt average to us. The taste was more like a regular verutharacha chicken curry, not very distinct. Other dishes we tried tasted good and were satisfying. One thing we really liked was the spacious seating, which is comfortable for families. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to a pleasant dining experience. Overall, a good place for family dining,
